About Us
ALOHA!
We are making our Bee's Cotton Wrap on the North Shore of Oahu in HAWAII.
We first encountered beeswax wrap at a farmers market in Oregon. A lady was selling beeswax wrap there, and we were impressed that her Grandmother had made beeswax cloth to use as food storage in the 1940's! She knew that beeswax had an antibacterial quality to preserve foods, so the lady made the wrap with her Grandmother's old technique.
We researched beeswax cloth and found that people have been using this waxed cloth since ancient Egypt. They have been using beeswax cloth to store food for thousands of years. So we decided we make this "NEW-old fashioned wrap" with Hawaiian beeswax because we have wonderful honey from many kinds of flowers all seasons in our Hawaiian Islands!!
